Waterfalls, ponds, and streams beautify your property
Water Features – SILVERADO PONDLESS WATERFALL

This water feature has multiple waterfalls in Silverado Southeast Calgary. It is pondless so there is no standing water at the bottom pool beneath the last waterfall. Water disappears into the river rock and circulates to the top with an Aquascape Pro 10,000 pump. Barkman Rosetta Outcropping stones make up the first waterfall with a waterfall spillway weir installed into the stones. The remaining three waterfall drops are comprised of rustic Cranbrook boulders that are set into the water feature to pin down the 45 mil EPDM liner and shape the meandering stream.
The liner is fish safe, and has exceptional resistance to solar UV, ozone, and oxidation. In addition to the liner, an installed underlay prevents punctures from rough or rocky ground. An underlay allows the ground to breathe and permits the earth’s gases to escape from underneath the liner rather than being trapped there and causing gas bubbles to push the liner up into the water feature. There is also a pondless waterfall vault to filter out contaminations and keep the water clean.
BEARSPAW BACKYARD WATERFALL

A backyard waterfall in Bearspaw has rustic Cranbrook steps and boulders leading to the top of the main waterfall. Pondless waterfalls can be inserted into tight spaces so that you can enjoy the soothing sounds of running water. They are also low maintenance, energy-efficient, and attract a variety of wildlife. It re-circulates the water without the presence of a pool, so it is safe for families with young children. And, because it is located in the backyard, it can be enjoyed through the window or from the back patio.
The waterfall has an Aquascape Pro 7,500 pump, a 45-mil liner, an underlay, and a biofalls filter.
The filter creates the top of the waterfall and assists in the circulation and health of the water. The filter uses bacteria to break down pond wastes and converts them into less harmful compounds that can be used as aquatic plant fertilizers. Inside the housing is filter media which helps with the removal of fine to medium-sized particles.
Airdrie Front Entry Waterfall

This front entry 2-waterfall feature really boosts the Airdrie curb appeal. The waterfalls are built out of rustic Cranbrook boulders and river rock and really boosts the curb appeal. The charm and visual appeal of this water feature can be enjoyed from the front window.
The ancient Chinese study of Feng Shui teaches that flowing water attracts wealth. It also teaches that landscaping water features should be kept clean. Just as a dripping faucet represents wasted money slowly dripping out of your pockets, an efficiently flowing water feature symbolizes new opportunities flowing into your life.
This feature includes the Aquascape IonGen system which effectively kills algae without the use of traditional liquid chemicals. The system helps to control algae growth throughout the entire system by using a microprocessor that sends a signal to its ion-producing probe. It is compatible with water containing fish and plants and typically cost less than $1 to run per month.
